As part of this large-scale project, Zymestic has developed an integrated information system with an application to facilitate the work of probation officers (court officials supervising defendants in alternative sentences such as house arrest, victim protection, etc.) for its partners.
Requirements
- Integration of the application with the information system of the Probation and Mediation Service (IS PMS).
- Create an application allowing to define the type of house arrest, time intervals and obligations of the accused, e.g. conduct an alcohol test, set a date to report to a designated location.
- To create a map base allowing to enter polygons defining mandatory and prohibited zones of movement and stay of convicts or to define curfew areas.
Results and benefits
- Integration of the system with the map client ZBGIS – Basic National Reference System, which allows to define selected locations.
- Integration of the system with the Address Register, which allows selection of specific address points and work with them.
- Integration of the system with the GPS monitoring system.
- The solution is used daily by dozens of probation and mediation officers who register files in the system, create cases and monitor the accused.
Technologies used
- ArcGIS Javascript API
- .NET Framework
- ESRI ArcGIS for Server
